BLOOM (2021) Leather Pendant Light

花朵在傳統文化中常被賦予特殊的內涵，於早期臺灣社會也時常能看見帶有花朵意象的日常物件，如壓花玻璃、布藝品、鐵花窗、花磚等｡ 

其中，早期的百合造型燈具和老式留聲機啟發了我們對於 BLOOM 系列 的想像，平時將物件置於場域的一隅，是能安定空間的藝品，而如同音樂之於留聲機，當溫潤的光線由綻放的花朵中盛開，單品又成了點綴空間的靈魂｡

Flowers have long been given special meaning. Since long ago, floral imagery has adorned many everyday items, such as patterned glass, cloth, window grills, and tiles.

Our inspiration for this piece, “Bloom,” came from flower-shaped lampshades and phonographs from the past. While the lampshade may be placed in the corner of a room, serving as a piece of tranquil art, its essence can fill the space, like the music of a phonograph, when its warm light is turned on, transforming into the protagonist of the room’s soul.

漏斗形  Funnel-shaped

漏斗狀花冠 皮革燈罩靈感源自老式留聲機，如同音樂之於留聲機，溫潤的光線由綻放的花朵中盛開｡

The Funnel-shaped Leather Lampshade is inspired by phonographs from the past, like the music of a phonograph, when its warm light is turned on, transforming into the protagonist of the room’s soul.

杯形  Cup-shaped

杯形狀花冠  皮革燈罩以鬱金香為原型，概念則源自杯碗狀的花朵玻璃燈罩，是至今仍常見於家庭中的老式百合燈｡

Cup-shaped Leather Lampshade based on tulips are inspired by flower-shaped glass pendant light, which uesd to be shown as chaliced flower lampshades in many homes families up to the present.
